NORTHERN COLORADO CHAPTER
March 12, 2008

Tom Kramer called the meeting to order at 6:40pm  at Sportsman’s Warehouse in Loveland.
There were 14 members present.
Minutes from February  were approved.

Treasurer’s Report
Approved.

Habitat
Mick’s property was discussed and the CDOW will probably plant during the week.  Mick is charged with building fences around the plantings.  He is probably going to take a week off to do that.

The Budweiser property was discussed.  This would be a fundraiser and we would like it to be open to youth activities.

Youth Hunt
The youth hunt is scheduled for March 29 at Great Guns.  Hunts will not start until 10am. Volunteers are requested to show up at 7:30am.  All youth will shoot sporting clays before they take the field.  We will also show them a rooster and a hen before they go hunt.

Chevrolet is a major sponsor so Don B. is going to check if Gebhardt/Davidson will see if their  Chevrolet district will sponsor our youth hunt.  Bob Hix has Toyota contacts that probably would if Chevy will not.

Banquet
The banquet was discussed.  Profit was $11,109.  This was our best as percentage of gross. Ideas were tossed about as to how to make it better.  Our banquet chairs did a superb job, as usual.  We need ideas on how to put 50 more people in seats.  General raffle tickets will probably be reduced. Kevin used our sponsor/donor list to check to see who needed plaques/medallions or just thank you.
