Tom Kramer called the meeting to order at 7:02pm, at Jax Mercantile
There were 7 members present.
Minutes from October and November were approved.

Treasurer’s Report
Approved.

Habitat
Stu McFarland from the Greeley chapter was present to discuss projects and insure that there are no chapter overlaps in an area.  Greeley will probably concentrate in the Kersey/Harden area.  He was also the NRCS person who looked at Mick’s property north of Stoneham along with Division biologists. One reason we are looking at putting in guzzlers is that they can be put in some month other than April when evergreens and shrubs are planted.

Dean G. met with Nutri-Turf (Budweiser). They have  7000 acres with about 500 in wildlife habitat. They seem to be willing to improve the wildlife areas  including 10-15 acres of food plots in the settlement basins.  He feels they would be a great asset for demonstrations and working with youth.

Youth Hunt
IF YOU HAVE ONE OF THE YOUTH HUNT PICTURE BOOKS OR THE SHOTSHELL RAFFEL RACK GAME. PLEASE CONTACT ONE OF THE OFFICERS.  We would like to have these for the banquet.

Our previous host pulled the plug on Erick before the current  host was set up.  Website was down and  Tom Kramer’s email was down also. The pictures from the youth hunt are now on the web page.

Banquet
The latter part of the meeting was spent on discussing what items, guns and games we could have at the banquet.  Some raffles and games we have held in the past are now deemed illegal by the state.

New Business
Regional Director (Bob Hix) is still on the run.  We will try to meet him for lunch on Monday Dec. 17. Place will be near I-25 and Hiway 34.  Arrangements have not yet been made.
